Achilles Scottsdale is still meeting on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for group workouts. If you need all the details of time and place click HERE. A whole range of athletes are attending from walkers to high speed runners! For those that do not want to do the big workout there are always people that would love to have a walk/jog or 'wog' around the lake. Also, athletes who use hand-cycles or chairs have the opportunity to ride for miles on the green belt! Come and join us for some fun and exercise.

Wednesday workouts look something like this:

1 Warm up lap around the lake
Our dynamic warm up exercises
3 - 5 fast laps around the lake (or walking around the lake)
1 cool down lap
Core and stretching
Saturday workouts:
Range from walks around the lake to miles and miles of running. There is always someone willing to hop on a bicycle as well to ride along with any hand-cyclist. There is company for everyone! Saturday workouts always end at the bagel shop for some yummy food and good conversation.

Upcoming Races:

South Mountain Classic: 20K

Event:

Achilles will have an exhibitor's booth at a convention hosted by Arizona Council for the Blind on Friday, April 15 from 8-5. Let Angie know if you'd like to join us as we try and recruit some more athletes!

Hope this finds everyone happy and well. Go Achilles!
