Congrats to Brooke and Torsten Voss who were the only Achilles members to participate in all 5 Arizona Road Racers Summer Series Events. 

Summer Series 1 was held at Papago Park in Tempe. Torsten, Greg Trone, and Mike Caruso guided Brooke to a 26:30 finish for a 5K. 

Summer Series 2 was held at Reach 11 Park in Phoenix.  Brooke and Angie, Mia, and Mikey Caruso walked to a 54:24 finish for a 5k trail run/walk. Torsten flew in with a 25:30 finish. 

Summer Series 3 was held at Rio Visto Park in Peoria on the 4th of July.  Brooke and Torsten finished in 36:56 for a 4 mile race.

Summer Series 4 was held at Kiwanis Park in Tempe where Torsten, Mike, and Greg guided Brooke to a series fastest 25:06 for a 5K.

The Series ended at South Mountain Park where Torsten, Mike and Greg led Brooke to a 27:06 fininish at the hilly 5K. 

Other Achilles volunteers that participated in some of the ARR Summer Series included the super fast Kate Maurer and Colleen Venti.

Way to go Achilles. Looking foward to some fall races...out of the heat!
