Achilles Greater Phoenix, is the first Arizona Chapter of Achilles International, a non-profit organization for endurance athletes with disabilities. With chapters nationwide and in over 70 countries, Achilles is enabling athletes and volunteers to work together to remove barriers to entry into endurance sports. These sports include running, walking, cycling,  hand-cycling and wheelchair racing.

Our chapter is about more than just making fitness accessible. It’s about bringing together members of the local community to do what we all love to do—get out there and be active! Our volunteers are athletes too: runners, cyclists, swimmers and hikers. We welcome athletes and volunteers at all ability and experience levels. On our site you’ll find information about upcoming events and workouts, as well as photos and race reports from past events. Want to get involved? Check out our “Join Us” section to get started!
